Welcome to Tranzac, a vibrant not-for-profit performance arts organization dedicated to nurturing artistic expression and fostering community connections. Our mission is to support artistic practice and promote the development of communities vital to maintaining these practices. We do this through our residency programs and community-priced venue rentals.

Tranzac has a long history of supporting the performing arts and has an outsized impact on the arts in our city. We are home to dozens of artistic communities, the Toronto Zine Library, and over 70 performance residency artists and groups.

All told the Tranzac hosts 1400+ events a year.
