COMMUNITY-PRICED RENTALS FOR YOUR EVENTS

At Tranzac, we foster community connections and provide accessible spaces for arts, culture, and social gatherings. Our community-priced rentals offer affordable event options in our Main Hall and Living Room, our primary rental spaces. Additionally, we provide options for daytime rehearsals in the Southern Cross Lounge, rental of the parking lot, Zine Library, or the full building. These rentals cover operational costs without generating profit, ensuring everyone can utilize our spaces.

Full venue rentals include the use of the Main Hall, Living Room, Southern Cross Lounge and Zine Library.

DAYTIME REHEARSAL SPACE

We have daytime rehearsal rentals, with the use of a full backline and DIY sound board, available from 11 am to 4 pm Tuesday through Friday in our Living Room and Southern Cross Lounge.

TECHNICIAN RATES

Venue Technician for Main Hall rentals (audio, video projection, lighting): $250 (flat rate, 7-hour shift) +$25 per hour beyond 7 hours

EVENT WITH FOOD

If your event will include food, you must purchase event liability insurance. Tranzac is a member of the Duuo network of venues. For ease of implementation and discounts, you can get a quote or obtain your event liability insurance at duuo.ca.

When you obtain event liability insurance from Duuo, a digital copy of your insurance will be sent automatically to Tranzac. For a 20% discount, enter our address (292 Brunswick) in the "location" field during the quote and select the address with Duuo Partner highlighted in red beside it. *When asked about alcohol service, click “no” - we take care of that. *

Duuo is not required to be used as a provider - renters can acquire liability insurance from a provider of their choice. Please note that Tranzac does not provide kitchen or fridge access for food storage or preparation.
