Join Cannopy Magazine for a free evening of live music and poetry on September 13, 7:30pm at The Tranzac (292 Brunswick Ave, Toronto).
The night will feature three special artists in concert and conversation: * Vivek Shreya ─ Writer, musician, fierce goddess * Evan Redsky ─ Writer, musician, balladeer * 敬兒 respectfulchild ─ Experimental muscian, interdisciplinary artist, violin dreamer
Interspersed between their performances, poets from across Southern Ontario will take the stage to lend their voices to the freedoms of travelling, summer in Ontario and, yes — the colour yellow.

As a performance venue and community hub, The Tranzac is our ideal Third Place to gather and enjoy some of the most interesting artistic offerings in the city. That is why we are so excited to launch a series of intimate concert experiences featuring local artists and international performers touring through the city.
The general format of these concerts will feature performing artists across various genres — including folk, jazz, classical, poetry, and artists working in the alternative/global music space. We will also present visual artists with an opportunity to discuss pieces within their catalogue.
Here’s where it gets really fun: these performances will also include interviews with the artists and opportunities to take questions from the audience!
