Mimi's raw sound is conjured by her emotive voice and expressive guitar, making her music reminiscent of many 70s folk artists with lyrical honesty and dynamic, ethereal melodies. Using a vocal looper and a guitar, Ultra-Violet Archer makes music inspired by natural and urban soundscapes, her Celtic and Appalachian roots, and by that specific shade of midwestern blue the sky turns just after sunset."
