Help us raise $8,000!

Dear Tranzac Members, Artists, and Creative Communities,

We’re reaching out today with an important message about the Tranzac—our shared space for creativity, collaboration, and connection.

The Tranzac thrives because of the energy, creativity, and support of those who call it home. You are the heart of this space, and we are deeply grateful for everything you bring to it. Today, we’re reaching out with an earnest request to help sustain and strengthen this special place.

For decades, the Tranzac has been a home for artists and audiences alike, a place where music, theatre, comedy, storytelling, and so much more come to life. Every year, more than 1,500 performances happen here, from intimate sets by resident artists in the Southern Cross Lounge to vibrant touring shows in our Main Hall, and everything imaginable in between. It’s a space that belongs to all of us, shaped by the artists who perform here and by the communities who show up to listen and celebrate being in community together.

Right now, we need your support to keep thriving. Like many arts spaces, we’re facing financial challenges—rising costs, mounting expenses, and the ongoing work of maintaining the building that so many of us call home. While much work has been done to stabilize the financial side of the organization, Tranzac will always need a boost from our supporters. This year, our goal is to raise $8,000 to put towards Tranzac’s first-ever financial audit. Our organization has grown to a size where this is now required annually.

We’re asking our collection of communities to rally together to help us through this important time. Here’s how you can support:

🎶 Donate—every contribution makes a difference.

🎶 Become a member—help sustain the Tranzac for the long haul.

🎶 Rent the space—book for an evening event or for weekday rehearsals

The Tranzac exists because of the people who fill it with music, stories, and laughter. It’s more than just a venue—it’s a home for artistic expression, a space where culture is built from the ground up. Your support keeps that going.

Let’s ensure the Tranzac continues to be a place where artists can experiment, audiences can discover something new, and our creative communities can flourish. We’re in this together, and we’re so grateful to have you with us. With gratitude,

Jason Doell
