Indonesian Night with Senandika
Dwi Riana is a Toronto based indie-folk singer-songwriter originally from Jakarta, Indonesia. Catch her live at Tranzac with various guests, every first Saturday from October to March, leading up to her debut album release “Songs from the Yellow Couch”.
This month's show is an Indonesian Night, where Riana will be playing a mix of her Indonesian and English songs, followed by a joined performance with Senandika. Senandika is a Toronto-based Indonesian band whose name means “a song carried in Canada.” They bring the spirit of home through Indonesian melodies, blending keroncong, pop, and dangdut to invite everyone to reminisce, sing, and feel connected. "
