A Failed Entertainment

A Failed Entertainment is an improvising ensemble which uses original compositions, as well as pieces by Monk, Jarrett, Motian, Ayler, Coleman, and Geri Allen, as launching pads for exploration. This month's lineup will feature Anh Phung, Tara Kannangara, Leland Whitty, Luan Phung, Chris Pruden, Julian Anderson-Bowes, and Mack Longpré.

A Failed Entertainment is an improvising ensemble led by drummer Mack Longpré. Throughout this residency, we will be performing original compositions, as well as pieces by Albert Ayler, Keith Jarrett, Paul Motian, Geri Allen, and Thelonious Monk.
