"Vibraphonist, Michael Davidson presents intergenerational ensembles ranging from solo to 9 piece, performing music by & adjacent to Thelonious Monk alongside inspired original compositions. There is a focus on spontaneity, the blurring of composed and improvised elements as rigorous structures are built while being simultaneously knocked into oblivion.
This month Michael will be joined by vibraphonist/electroniker/pianist, Bjorn Kriel for a night of solo & duo pieces exploring structure and spontaneity, with vibraphones and electronics."
