Amélie & Les Singes Bleus (ALSB) bring their signature blend of chanson, gypsy jazz, Latin grooves, and vintage soul to the Tranzac's Southern Cross for a monthly residency. Fronted by Amélie Lefebvre's warm vocals and anchored by swinging upright bass, guitar, horns, and drums, ALSB has been Toronto's go-to French band since 2012 — the group people call to bridge audiences that don't usually overlap. Known for fearless reinterpretations of classic and current francophone songs alongside new originals, each show mixes old favourites with fresh surprises and the occasional guest performer.
