Born in Italy and residing in Toronto, Andrea Scala presents a project in which acoustic drums blend with samples and other electronic elements, blending abstract jazz rhythms, textures, and noises. Andrea recorded his new compositions at Figure 8 in Brooklyn and is currently working on his new album. On Saturday, March 29th, he will perform some of these pieces at Tranzac.
