"Song Experiment is a monthly song lab hosted by Cassie Norton Welcoming unconventional approaches to song writing and song sharing.
Each month, a different artist and approach is featured welcoming surprise and collaboration.
Drawing, and colouring tools as well as paper are provided, so you can draw/colour/doodle along with the music.
This month host singer songwriter Cassie Norton has invited a new combination of musicians to improvise collectively, as well as playing on songs of the members. Both sets will feature Mika Maclear Wall on drums, Nigel Barriffe on guitar and vocals, Natalie Goss on electric bass and vocals, and Wally Brooker on saxophone and vocals. Cassie will play a variety of instruments in the improvised set, and electric guitar (for the first time in performance) and vocals on the song set. "
Song Experiment is a monthly song lab hosted by Cassie Norton that explores different ways of presenting songs. Different artists and approaches are featured each month. Cassie Norton is a Toronto based singer-songwriter, violinist/multi-instrumentalist, improvisor and climate activist.
