Dwi Riana is a Toronto based indie-folk singer-songwriter originally from Jakarta, Indonesia. Catch her live at Tranzac with various guests, every first Saturday from October to March, leading up to her debut album release “Songs from the Yellow Couch”.
On this show, Riana and Ren will be sharing the stage with acoustic performances, trading songs and talking about them. Ren Cañete (they/them) is a queer Filipinx Canadian multidisciplinary creative based in Scarborough. Both explorative and sentimental, their indie/folkish songs are raw, sonic journal entries. They write to process and grieve. They write for themselves and for baby Ren.
