"Join the Howard Gladstone Band for an afternoon of originals, collaboration and live magic. The Band features Howard Gladstone on vocals & guitar, backed by Tony Quarrington (guitar), Laura Fernandez (vocals & piano) and Bob Cohen (bass).

We're honoured to host three special guest acts:

Quarrington & Adams (the witty, genre‑hopping duo of Tony Quarrington & Zoey Adams) — expect jazz, folk, swing and sharp lyrics.

Brian Gladstone — veteran singer‑songwriter, fingerstyle guitarist and roots‑community stalwart.

Taivi & Garth — Toronto‑based singer‑songwriter Taivi brings a clear, intimate Americana/folk voice (see her album Rising Tide) plus her partner in crime, Garth Douglas.

It’s the kind of show where songs will hold you, players will surprise you, and the room will hum with connection. Come early, bring someone, and treat yourself to a December afternoon of good music.

Howard Gladstone is a singer/songwriter with a residency on the “first Sunday of every month” in the Southern Cross Room. He performs original material in the folk, roots, jazz, vein along with stellar accompanists Tony Quarrington (guitar) and Bob Cohen (bass). Most months also feature a Special guest performer to add spice and interest and keep it extra fresh. Howard has released eight albums or original material and continues to add new songs to his repertoris and performances. What to expect? The Toronto Star stated: “If you heard this music in a crowded room, you’d swear it was a lost gem from another time.”
