Part of the residency Justin Orok Presents...
Southern Cross
A series presenting emerging or underappreciated songwriters playing with a carefully curated, one-night-only band of some of Toronto's best musicians. This month's edition featuring the earnest, lilting, French and English songs of Elisabeth Dorion, accompanied by Alex Forsyth, Andrés Mendivelso, Jill Sauerteig, Andrew Downing, and Justin Orok.
A series presenting emerging or underappreciated songwriters, paired with carefully curated bands making music together for the first time. The featured artist of the week will explore their history through a mix of original songs and covers, while making connections with a diverse array backing musicians from various corners of the Toronto music community. For listeners interested performances with slightly less polish, but real opportunities for magic.
