Isla and the Sorry Brothers play Kurt Newman's Post-Bluegrass Bluegrass residency! Intimate trio bluegrass with Isla Craig, Karsten Stryker, and Kurt Newman. Expect beautiful singing, some hot picking, and a songbook that blends bluegrass and gospel classics with some left-field covers. Isla is one of the most amazing singers anywhere in the world. She says: "I spent the better part of my childhood summers going from festival to festival, listening to players around the fire at night , it made an indelible mark on my ear and harmonic sense. I was very interested when Kurt asked if I might want to put some tunes together as an ongoing project between him and Karsten. It is such fun to sing this music and reconnect to such an important thread of my musical inheritance."
