"Experience Julie Lassonde's residency involving movement and sound improvisation. This month, they invite Yang Chen (percussion), James Knott (voice, electronics) and Leena Raudvee (movement). Together, they will perform scores composed by Julie specifically for this residency.
Yang Chen is a versatile percussionist with many side-hustles who prioritizes collaboration, personal growth, and joy. They perform regularly with the Labyrinth Ensemble and Evergreen Club Contemporary Gamelan. @yango.bongo

Julie Lassonde will curate movement and sound improvisation events, involving free improvisation as well as scores composed by them. Different invited musicians, dancers and performance artists will join them in performance throughout the residency.
