"people | places | records Tranzac Club Southern Cross Residency continues! This month we'll feature sets from Yang Chen and David Zucchi!
Two multidisciplinary and genre-fluid mavericks with Toronto origins. Percussionist Yang Chen will perform works from their soundscape sprawling debut album ""longing for_"" released back in 2022, as well as first glimpses at new music coming soon on PPR. UK-based saxophonist and composer David Zucchi returns to Toronto to present live versions of music from his intimate, dreamy, nostalgic (and Christmas-y!) album ""Mandi,"" released just last year. ""Mandi"" features unearthed recordings of family members from decades past, paired with newly written lyrical and delicate saxophone playing.

people | places | records presents a monthly series showcasing current and upcoming artists from our genre-fluid roster community. Each month’s show would focus on a recently released or upcoming album project, paired with an artist or project who’s material we have previously released. We will feature both local and visiting artists, nationally and internationally.
