"Peripheral Vision, with The Littell Trio, opening.
The Littell Trio is an improvising trio comprised of old friends Robert Diack, Patrick O’Reilly, and Sam Little. Nominally led by Sam, the group first formed as an ad hoc ensemble in 2021 and has slowly grown into something much more. In the last several years, the trio had the good fortune of participating in the Banff Jazz and Sonic Arts program which further fomented the group’s cohesion as a working band. They look forward to releasing their first album as a group in the coming year.
Peripheral Vision is a bold and innovative Toronto-based jazz quartet known for its adventurous spirit and deep musical rapport. Led by guitarist Don Scott and bassist Michael Herring and joined by saxophonist Trevor Hogg and drummer Nick Fraser they are currently performing new material, as well as music from “We’ve Got Nothing”, a Canada Council for the Arts-funded multimedia video and album release.
