Rebecca Hennessy's Singer-Songwriter Circle feat. Felicity Williams, Patrick O'Reilly & Michael Herring

"Hosted by trumpeter, vocalist, keyboardist, and songwriter Rebecca Hennessy, the Tranzac Singer-Songwriter Circle is an intimate songs-in-the-round series celebrating original music, storytelling, and spontaneous collaboration. This month's featured guest is Felicity Williams, one of Toronto's most distinctive and adventurous musical voices. A singer and songwriter whose work moves seamlessly between jazz, folk, improvisation, and experimental music, Williams has collaborated with many of the city's celebrated artists, including Robin Dann, Alex Lukashevsky, Luka Kuplowsky, Ben Gunning, Isis Giraldo, Thomas Gill, Christine Bougie, Carlyn Bezic, and Alex Samaras. She is one half of You Can Can with sound and visual artist Andrew Zukerman and is also a member of the touring band for Bahamas. Joining her for the evening is guitarist Patrick O'Reilly, an expressive and versatile musician whose thoughtful, lyrical playing brings warmth and depth to every performance. Throughout the evening, Rebecca Hennessy will share a selection of original songs while performing on vocals, trumpet, and keyboard. She is joined by acclaimed bassist Michael Herring, whose strong musical voice, deep listening, and years of collaboration with artists across Canada provide the perfect foundation for an evening of musical exploration. Rather than a traditional concert, the Singer-Songwriter Circle invites audiences into a relaxed and engaging musical conversation, where songs are shared, stories unfold, and collaborations emerge naturally. Each performance is unique, offering listeners a rare opportunity to experience four exceptional musicians connecting through original music in an intimate setting. "
