The end of the year is nigh! Join the Sympathetic String Band for their final residency show of the year alongside the meditative soundscapes of Renelyn Quinicot. Renelyn will begin the night by bathing us in her rejuvenating sounds before the artists unite for an immersive journey towards restoration. Come get attuned for the new year at the Southern Cross from 7:00-9:30pm.
Sympathetic String Band toes the ages from medieval troupe music to hippy heyday psych folk. With dulcimers and harps in hand, motifs of whimsy and sadness appear and dissolve into sprawling improvisations. With ever-changing members, musicorum and more, whatever form the Sympathetic String Band takes never appears twice.
