Song Experiment with Cassie Norton and Natalie Goss

"Song Experiment is a monthly song lab hosted by Cassie Norton welcoming unconventional approaches to Song Writing and Song Sharing.

Each month, a different artist and approach is featured welcoming surprise and collaboration.

Drawing/colouring supplies and big banner paper will be provided for all doodlers, so you can collaborate too!

This month will feature Natalie Goss and Cassie Norton with two contrasting collaborative sets.

Natalie Goss is a queer singer-songwriter from T'karonto who accompanies herself on the harp, guitar and piano. Her sound is bluesy pop with intelligent lyrics. Some artists who inspire her work are Mitski, Kate Bush, and the Eurythmics.

This Saturday, she'll be joined by Cassie on violin and vocals.

Cassie Norton is a Toronto based singer-songwriter, violinist/multi-instrumentalist and climate activist. She tells the stories behind her lyrics with sound, using a wide timbral palette of voice, violin, octave violin, guitar, ukulele, and piano.

This Saturday she'll be sharing for the very first time a set of ""Earth Songs"" for found sounds, strings and chorus. Cassie, Natalie and tbd guest singers will form the chorus."
