Partitions illimitées / Unlimited Scores
"Experience Julie Lassonde's residency involving movement and sound improvisation. This month, they invite Sadie Cahill (movement) and Sonia Leung (violin, voice). Together, they will perform scores composed by Julie specifically for this residency.
Sadie Cahill is a queer, disabled Toronto-based dance artist, who produces dance films through BrickHouse Productions and teaches at City Dance Corps. In 2023, a Space Space Revolution Scholarship supported her dance/theatre work “BrainStorm” exploring neurodivergent experiences.
Julie Lassonde is a performance artist and improviser who uses movement, voice and the manipulation of objects to explore social justice.
Sonia Leung is an improvisational artist who weaves violin and voice into spontaneous compositions, approaching music as a medium for meditation, play, and exchange."
