Story Time with Myk Freedman: Myk Freedman (guitar) Dave Clark (drums) and Rebecca Applebaum (readings) explore a long lost manuscript written by Myk's Romanian grandmother. The 2000 page work chronicled her life surviving the horrors of life in Europe during WWII and beyond. Excerpts from the manuscript will be read accompanied by an adventurous musical explorations of klezmer tunes from places where she lived. The event will be a deep dive into the complexities of all that transpired in the hell that was WWII and how the impact of that time is still felt today.
